St Albert Celebrates Canada Day

Help celebrate Canada Day by showcasing the artist in you! The City of St. Albert Recreation Services is hosting an Art Trail this Monday, July 1, 2013, and we are seeking local artists, whether they stand alone, or are part of a guild, association, or other non-profit group.

Time & Location: The “Art Trail” activity is to coincide with the Lions Park/Millennium Park activities, which run from 11 am – 3 pm.

Location – the paved trail on west border of Millenium Park, between the Tache Street loop and the footbridge.

Automobile access will be difficult if not impossible between 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Please plan your setup/take-down accordingly.

Sales & fees:

No fee is required to participate

Selling artwork and self promotion, i.e. business cards and/or brochures is allowed at your station.

Any and all transfer of money will be solely between the artist and the buyer. Canada Day organizers will not be involved in any money transactions.

Logistics:

Self contained display areas are required – the City of St. Albert can provide a table if requested in advance

Canada Day is an outdoor celebration, so prepare for the warm weather! If there is inclement weather the “Art Trail” will be called off. Communication about the “Art Trail” being weather dependant will be noted in all literature.

If you would like to demonstrate your craft, this is a perfect opportunity for a ‘hands-on’ area in your self-contained display area.

We cannot provide electricity

The first 15 artists to RSVP with Ryan Mullan will be accepted
